I will never forget this lesson because I really learnt the had way.
One being a genuine minister of God, who is so concerned about the well being and welfare of the people has God put under your care, trying to identify and be with them in their good and trying times mostly. Seeing dangers ahead of them and making sure by God’s mercies they are averted but then not actually paying healthy attention nor even taking your family issues seriously like you do for the brethren in church whom if anything happens to you tomorrow they already have another spiritual fatther they will run to. That faithful day my son had not been feeling well, we being aware and managing his health my husband was too busy to notice that the attack on his son was going beyond normal, until he died. Then it dawned on my husband that he never paid attention to his own son nor took his matter serious the way he did with the brethren in church.
It was a very big lesson to him because most of the people he was paying attention to later left the church for one reason or the other best known to them.
Most times things happen for us to learn the hard way when we neglect or ignore the impending signals.
It is well with the righteous.
