For most people, the love they feel for a parent (like a mother or father) is very different from the love they feel for a spouse (wife or husband). One is rooted in upbringing, care, and history; the other is built on partnership, choice, and shared life. They serve different emotional roles, so comparing “who is more lovable” is like comparing two completely different kinds of bonds.
In a healthy situation, a person doesn’t have to choose one over the other. Both relationships can be deeply important in their own ways.
