If something is on the floor at home or work, do you pick up or walk by? 🚶🏻‍♀️🚶🏻‍♂️

I have done a test at work before and at home. Piece of paper, wrapper or something small like a paper clip and everyone walks past it. I always pick it up. It just something that I do automatically.
