humans cannot live forever. Our bodies are built with natural limits: cells age, DNA accumulates damage, and vital organs eventually fail. Scientists are exploring ways to extend lifespan—through genetics, regenerative medicine, and anti-aging research—but immortality remains out of reach. Even if technology could significantly slow aging, humans would still face risks from accidents, diseases, or environmental factors.
Hi Aleena, this is a well explicit response, weldone.
I think we were meant to live longer than the average life expectancy of today if you go based off the bible, but when mankind evolved our life span has declined. Our bodies is only temporary but with advanced technology and medicine we are able to delay the inevitable which is death.
But no we can not live forever.
Not in the literal sense—not with what we currently know.
Humans cannot live forever because our bodies are biological systems that naturally wear out over time. Aging leads to cell damage, weakened organs, and eventually death.
However, science is exploring ways to extend human life significantly, such as:
Anti-aging research (slowing cell aging)
Regenerative medicine (repairing organs and tissues)
Genetic research (targeting age-related diseases)
Artificial organs and biotechnology
But even if lifespan increases, true immortality (never dying at all) is still not scientifically possible or proven.
So for now, the reality is:
We may be able to live longer and healthier—but not forever.
A deeper question to think about:
If humans could live forever, would life still feel meaningful?
Not in the physical sense in our earthly bodies!
You are very correct
Thank you Ashiedu

Wow!! Thank you very much for your answer !! Your response is very understandable I love that !!❤️
