Honestly , its mind-blowing to imagine how babies survive in the womb.
Placenta is one major sustainer of babies i.e the power house
The placenta is a temporary organ that attaches to the wall of the uterus. It acts as the baby’s lungs, kidneys, and digestive system all rolled into one.
Oxygen & Nutrients: The mother’s blood flows into the placenta, where oxygen and nutrients pass through a thin membrane into the baby’s bloodstream.
Waste Removal: Carbon dioxide and waste products (like urea) move from the baby back to the mother’s blood to be filtered out by her own lungs and kidneys.
The Barrier: Crucially, the mother’s and baby’s blood never actually mix. The placenta acts like a high-tech filter, allowing the good stuff in while blocking many harmful bacteria.
The uterus is another power line that keeps the babies alive.
