I’d love to hear different perspectives on the concept of respect. Some people believe respect must be earned through consistent actions and behavior, while others feel that everyone deserves a basic level of respect regardless of who theyare.
It can be both based on the person’s status in the world or locally. But most of the time, respect is earned on all levels and can be taken away just the same based on actions.
