The biggest mistake I’ve made in business was trying to do everything alone because I didn’t want to look weak or lose control. I thought asking for help or hiring someone meant I wasn’t capable enough.
The result? I burned out, missed opportunities, and slowed growth because I was stuck in tasks I wasn’t good at instead of focusing on what actually moved the business forward. It cost me both time and money, and more importantly, peace of mind.
I’ve learned that real strength in business isn’t doing it all it’s knowing what you shouldn’t do and trusting others to carry it with you.
What’s one lesson you’ve learned the hard way that you wish someone had told you before you started?
