If the husband is the bread winner meaning that he is the one who is taking care of the wife and kids if the have any and only when the wife doesn’t have to work. Now adays there aren’t very many couples who are getting married. So to answer the question it’s a choice but for those couples who are married it’s a must only when the wife is not required to work. if she has to work then they both should in their responsibility’s.
