What’s one lesson you learned that completely changed your perspective on life?

Beware of betrayals and look out for them anywhere you go

I’ve learned that everything you see or hear is not always the truth. That why you must pay close attention to who and what is around you. In other words, everything cannot be trusted. Sleep with one eye open literally means don’t let your guard down even while you sleep you must stay alert cause you never know what’s creeping around in the dark.
