I have been in one in the past. I laid on top of my kids; my Doberman & Dalmatian tucked their heads under us. All windows blew out and took off the whole backside of my house. The neighborhood was hit hard.
Yes, you need to do your research on specialist stamp auctions. You can sell your stamps anywhere in the world these days, the auctioneers will sell on your behalf live video online, you don’t even have to he at the auction in person you can watch the bids online live video and communicate on video to the auctioneers. Please do your research a have a little experience in auctions and online auctions. They earn commission on your sell so they always willing to try sell your stamp for a highest price as possible. Your feelings seve you well, never take your stamps collection to any pawn shops. You need to go to specialist auctions or specialist buyers. See if you have have a Christie’s Auction in your country they are very famous and trustworthy one of the best in the world all the big rich collectors go to buy. You need to do your research. From the 70’s you should be into big money if you go to specialist. Don’t sell the whole book of stamps one alone can be wealth a lot of money. Slip them up sell two at a time or one single stamp. The auctioneers will advise more you better then me.

I live in New York City.Tornadoes are a rarity,but with the way climate change is occurring,they could happen.Tornadoes are very scary.So are earthquakes and hurricanes.We had a torrential rain storm here last Friday.The rain fell very hard and it messed up my phone that I had to replace.The only thing to do is stay out of and safe from tornadoes.
Illinois got hit pretty good and it was very close to us, but we got lucky‼️Lots was out of power, trees down and some got hail damaged. Nearby town got hit hard. I think we had two tornadoes that touched down.

Yes, I do❣️ I have never checked to see if they are worth anything today though. The book and all the stamps I collected was back in the 70’s. Maybe, they are worth something? ♀️I wouldn’t know where to take them to check, we have pawn shops here, but they are a ripoff. They never give much money on anything‼️I have never used a pawn shop but others I know have and it’s ridiculous what they pay.
I don’t know what I should do with them. Any ideas?

Yes I did collect from many countries around the world city and places I’ve been, like plates, cups pen’s etc. Some I still have and many I give away.

I even have a stamp collection that is in a stamp book. A girlfriend & I would ride the bus every Saturday to a stamp shop downtown. We would spend hours there❣️I believe we were in 7th grade.

Yes I live near tornado areas. Tornadoes usually touch down further distances away but still surrounding where I live and bad weather winds.

I live in Illinois and Illinois got hit good in some areas. It was super close to us but missed us. Our sirens went off 4 different time. It got dark and winds up to 65 mph‼️
In my county, there are 9. 500 outages. My daughter was one. This just all went down the 17th, few days ago. Lots of trees down and lots of flooding. Few nearby cities got hit hard tearing off roofs and more.
At one point, I did gather a few things and had my purse on my shoulder.

No thanks I rather stay far away at a safe distance. Ohh..look I know there Minneapolis and look Minnesota I was driving all around dose places many cities. Ohh look there is a Rochester City, wow the English Empire were really great conquers if my spelling is correct..lol. But, I’ve not been to Rochester and Illinois my time was limited to only a mouth to do as much as I can. Maybe one day in the future you can drive me around.

Yes, along the L. Victoria tornados are prone, especially during the rainy weather.
They can be so powerful‼️I was in one that took our whole back side of our house off and pretty much wiped out our neighborhood‼️Even blew a whole straight thru the bathroom tub‼️
