💧 AI Is Draining Our Water — Who Pays the Price?
Artificial intelligence feels invisible.
We see apps.
We see chatbots.
We see “smart” systems.
What we don’t see are the enormous industrial buildings behind them.
AI data centers run 24/7.
They consume vast amounts of electricity.
They use significant water for cooling.
They generate constant mechanical noise.
And they are increasingly being built near residential communities.
Local residents often learn about these projects after approvals are already underway — with limited transparency about water usage, power demand, environmental impact, or long-term infrastructure strain.
Water is not infinite.
Electric grids are not unlimited.
Communities are not testing grounds.
We are not anti-technology.
We are pro-transparency, pro-environment, and pro-community rights.
We demand:
• Mandatory environmental impact assessments before approval
• Full public disclosure of projected water and energy usage
• Community consultation and consent
• Strict noise and emissions standards
• Ongoing public reporting after operations begin
AI innovation must not quietly shift environmental costs onto local families.
Progress should be responsible — not rushed.

🙂R M M D February 19, 2026Please save our water. Boil orders are hard on everyone. After boil orders, cleaning of sinks and the spout has to be done. You will see black junk on your cleaning cloth. That is terrible. How do seniors that don't have family get this done?

🙂E Q I February 19, 2026Absolutely,before they set any AI,they should consider the disadvantages before setting it in residential environment The constant noise, electricity usage and water usage without the Residents or community consent or knowledge is very unfair. It is dangerous to health and it must stop with immediate alacrity

🙂A J February 19, 2026Any projects designated for a community with disclosing the EIA(Environmental Impacts Analysis) is criminal and unprofessional. Many communities are facing environmental hazard as a result of this. We say no to this act.
