📵 Take Back Our Classrooms — Phones Out, Focus In.
Classrooms were once places of focus.
Today, many students sit behind glowing screens — scrolling, messaging, watching, distracted.
Teachers compete with algorithms.
Lessons compete with social media.
Attention spans shrink.
Students report rising anxiety, social pressure, and constant digital comparison. Teachers report increased disruption and declining engagement.
This is not about blaming students.
It’s about creating an environment where learning can actually happen.
Phones are powerful tools — but they are also designed to capture attention, not support concentration.
We are asking for:
• Phone-free classrooms during instructional time
• Secure storage solutions during school hours
• Clear emergency access protocols
• Strong digital literacy education alongside policy
Schools should be safe spaces for thinking, growth, and real human connection.
If we don’t set boundaries now, distraction will define the next generation’s education.

🙂A J A February 19, 2026When phones are put away, students are more engaged in lessons, participate actively in discussions, and build stronger relationships with teachers and classmates. A focused classroom encourages critical thinking, creativity, and deeper understanding of subjects. It also helps reduce issues such as cyberbullying, cheating, and social media pressure during school hours.
