How do you handle stress? Are you calm? Or do you spazz out?
How well do you hold up under stress? Do you usually approach a situation or deal with whatever the problem is is it dealt with by you calmly or do you start to immediately spazz out like screaming and yelling or do you get physical ? you know some people don’t know how keep their hands to themselves. I’m interested to know how do you handle any kind stress? Please Explain
I have remained calm, and there were times I had to unleash anger.A couple of years ago,a predator kept driving through my neighborhood, insisting that I hang out with him.The very last time,he tried it for the last time.I did not use physical force, but I used profanity, threats, and insults against him.On front of the neighbors, too. What made this person never return to the neighborhood was me telling him that no one in life wanted him,and to go drive off a cliff. He was stunned and finally drove away after I told him I hated him for that continued harassment. There are times to remain calm,or just act terrible against people like that.Who needs to be stressed by a potential criminal? This is one example of a stressful situation. Also lately,I have been walking a lot to relieve stress. That helps.
Thank you also for your perspective.
It really depends as it can varie. Overall, as I’ve got older, I like to believe I manage stress well and for the most part I am calm. That is however not to say that certain situations can stress me out more than others and have in the past. It’s a constant work in progress. Overall I believe that a calm and collected head tends to yield better results and working under pressure with a calm head is also more productive.
Yes, that is the key staying calm, but sometimes it is hard to maintain. Especially when you have someone who’s steadily pressing your buttons trying thier best to get you upset. Thank you Waz for your honest opinion
That’s very true
Breathing..
irs proven that if you have a longer exhale than inhale – it calms down your heartbeat and pressure- leading to different state.
it’s like a mantra.. breathe in less and try and push out longer. 😊😊😊
♥️♥️♥️
In layman’s term that means to speak and even though that is true sometimes things are better left unsaid. Thank you Zane for your comment.
I am more calm.
Thank you Phyllis for your comment
You are welcome! Thanks for the question.
I handle my stress spoke up to God, my sister or my husband. If I don’t want to talk them and could not explain them, I just sitdown and think about it. How can I loose this rope. 🙂
Thank you Dim for your comment.
You are welcome
I have come a long way in how I handle my stress… I used to bottle it up and when the bottle busted, I would explode. Today, I take my medication and I take my vitamins. I found that working with toxic people and being in a toxic environment can have that negative effect on your mental status. Being active and working out is also free therapy.
Talking right away about how you feel is a plus. Thank you Jenni for your comment.
I usually play PlayStation 5 or go outside
Thank you Steven for your comment.
I try my best to be calm but sometimes this is very hard to do.
Yes, staying calm is best and it is hard sometimes to remain that way. Especially when someone is constantly nagging at you. Thank you Carole for your comment.

You are lucky it could have gone worse. I’m glad that he left you alone. Thank you, Myriam, for your comment.
