Kevin, it is still much of a wonder to me, how can body oil or jelly originate of petroleum. I always think that petroleum is a by product of the crude oil. From the crude, we get petrol, diesel, paraffin and some other kind of fuel which have got high affinity for heat. Nowadays, i can observe that there is a substance added to Vaseline. It is known as petrolatum. Am still confused, though between petroleum and petrolatum. Vaseline is still my best body oil.
I didn’t know for sure, so I researched the answer and this what I found:
While derived from petroleum, Vaseline® ensures the safety of its jelly by putting it through a triple purification process. This process removes impurities, resulting in a jelly that is non-irritating and hypo allergenic.
So, I going to assume by this report that the answer to the question is yes but is purified before placing on the market to sell.

Thank you my bro. You are right, I got my details wrong! But I will watch it again. I ribble it was when the scientists working on refining products from crudeoil, they had this product leftover which they cleaned up and made a major break through.
