Who pays on the first date?

If, I accept the invitation from a guy, then I expect him to be a gentleman and pay, since he asked. However, I would always be prepared if things went to the left. If, we agree to dutch, then each one will pay for their own. So far, I have never gone on a date and foot the bill.

Whoever did the asking to set the first date would be the one to pay.

If there are any more traditional men in the world those would be the ones who wouldn’t have any problems paying on the first date.

Usually in formal or informal first dates, it’s the guy who pays for the lunchdate or the dinner date, but if he can’t do that, for some reasons, then that would be a great turn-off for me, especially if he insisted on the date, unless if he forgot his card or cash. For me, first impression lasts. But I won’t demand either. 

No one. I don’t believe in spending money for a first day if you just met someone. Usually activities that cost little to no money, and forces you and the other person to actually interact are the best and most memorable.

I definitely wouldn’t demand the guy pays on a first date, if he wants to then lovely but I wouldn’t automatically assume 😊
