Absolutely no.
Hi Epifania E Zabala
That
Fair enough.
Thank you so much I really appreciate
your answer.
I believe that it’s always wise to pick your battles. If it’s something that is not that important and does not compromise your morals, you can say sorry to end the conflict.
Hi Ernest Canario
that is so true,
wise words
Thank you so much Ernest I really appreciate
your answer, Peace.
No problem!
This is a tricky question, say you were right, but the way the other individual took what you said as wrong. You can always apologize to them for the misunderstanding and trying to explain where the other individual understands where your coming from!
You should give an apology for sure in the wrong, and in a misunderstanding.
Hi Michael
that is so true,
Thank you so much I really appreciate
your answer.
I probably would. It’ll help the situation become better and not awkward.
Hi Steven Landaverde
So True,
Thank you so much I really appreciate
your answer.
I feel that you should only ever apologize when you actually mean it, therefore it doesn’t matter who’s right or wrong it’s a matter of how you conducted yourself in the situation and if you truly feel you did anything to be sorry for. You shouldn’t feel the need to apologize just because you are right, it isn’t your fault the other person/people got it wrong
Also I feel there is many variations of right and wrong just because something is right in your mind doesn’t mean it is right in someone else’s mind so again it leads me back to my feelings of never apologize unless you feel you are sorry for your actions/reactions
Hi Melissa M Oudin,
I totally agree
so true,
Thank you so much I really appreciate
your answer.
Depends on why there’s an apology needed in the first place.
Hi Kaitlyn Wilson
Valid Point
yes you’re right
it sure does depend on the situation, and why?
Thank you so much I really appreciate
you’re answer.
I would only apologize if I were wrong…
Hi Jenni Norton,
Valid Point.
Thank you so much I really appreciate
your answer.
It depends with the situation but if apologising would maintain peace yes I would.
Hi Virginia Makodza,
that is so true.
Thank you so much I really appreciate
your answer.
No period!
Hi Larhonda Taylor,
Thank you so much I really appreciate
you’re answer.
You are welcome.
I think it depends on the situation. But, yes it is OK to do so.
If you are right, (not KNOW or FEEL right), then you could apologise just to quell any bad vibes that arise from the argument. But if your ‘right’ causes someone to be upset, that’s on them, nor you. They needed to hear it and maybe needed to be upset at that time! If you are right, be humble about it.
Hi Kevin Goodman
so true,
Thank you so much I really appreciate
your answer.
Sure! In my opinion, whether you should apologize when you’re right depends on the context. Sometimes, apologizing can be a way to show empathy and maintain peace, even if you haven’t done anything wrong. It’s more about valuing relationships and finding common ground than admitting fault.
Hi Denise Gamez
so true,
what you’re saying,
I Totally agree with you Denise.
Thank you so much
for explaining so well,
I really appreciate
your answer.
Thank You Anthony! I’m glad my explanation helped. Take care!
I will not apologize about something when I know I’m right. But it also depends on my choice of words and how I go about the situation. If I go about it the wrong way, then I will apologize.
Hi Ebony Hamilton,
that is so true
Thank you so much I really appreciate
your answer.
Thank you for you question and response!
It is dependent on the circumstances as not everything is linear. The most imperative part for me is to let your ego go.
Hi Waz Aslam
that is so true
Thank you so much I really appreciate
your answer.
Your “ right” shouldn’t hurt others deliberately..
Hi Zane Lada
So True,
Peace.
I would apologize just to acknowledge that if i had done anything wrong (even when I don’t think that I have) I didn’t mean to or that it was not intentional or could have been an accident.
Sometimes Continuing to try to prove you are right becomes a moot point or a stalemate if the other party refuses to see your side or thinks they are right.
Apologizing for me is an attempt to stop the discussion if it is not going anywhere.
Hi Jill Dirksen,
Well said,
that is so true!
Thank you so much I really appreciate
you’re answer.
You are welcome, Anthony! I don’t like to argue but when I am right I don’t like to back down either. Sometimes however, there are those people who won’t concede and at that point, it just isn’t worth it to continue to argue.
If a situations calls for it, maybe.
