I think there’s actually no need for me to apologize when I’m right, so that the offender will know that he did wrong, and for him to apologize instead, but if he/she never apologizes, then I think I should say to him: ” Oh, I’m sorry, or “my apologies”, to remind him that he was supposed to express to me those words instead of me, and he has just to have a common sense.
Not necessarily especially if I’m right. But if I hurt someone feelings in the process of proving me right. Then I will apologize for that.
Hello, Anthony!..Thanks so much for the complement. I truly appreciate it. Thanks for the interesting question.
Nobody is either right or wrong. It’s the different perceptions of how others think. If they feel that you are wrong and you feel you are right apologize anyway. They are entitled to their opinions and thought patterns as well as you are. Sometimes it’s best to agree to disagree with respect and move on.
Hi Annetta Martinez
Thank you for you’re
explanation,
well said answer,
so true.
For me, it depends on the situation and who it is. If it’s to say I am sorry for hurting their feeling and to keep a relationship, then, yes I will say I am sorry, but not for being right. If that makes sense.
Hi Phyllis Cobbins.
In certain situations
it’s more effective being humble
to keep the peace.
Yes I agree
right is right
wrong is wrong.
Thank you Phyllis for your answer.
You are welcome! Thanks for the question.
No, I will not. But I do try to be polite and not rub it in.
Dear Carole Moreland,
So true,
yes politeness wins the day.
Thank you so much Carole for your answer.
Oh.ok, well, even when I’m not wrong but I’m right, sometimes I will just apologise if I’m right just to keep the peace. Well, someone have to give way or its just going to go on and on to some big Commotion..lol
Hi David Beckford,
Yes I agree with you David on this issue,
as we know, you can’t fight fire with fire!
apology can be the best remedy to keep the calm,
Thank you for your answer David Beckford, well said.
We shouldn’t apologize when your conscience tells you, you’re right at the same, we should learn to say sorry if we are wrong.
Hi Hillary Ogana,
Yes, so true.
when you’re wrong your wrong
and when
you’re right your right.
Thank you,
for you’re answer. peace
Absolutely not, if you are right about something and can prove it, why should you apologise? If it offends or upsets someone, that’s their problem, not yours. If you are wrong, then yes absolutely apologise
Hi Ben Stratton.
That is so true
Wrong is Wrong
and
Right is right.
Thank you so much I really appreciate
your answer.
Apologizing upon a disagreement can be ok, and leaves oneself open for healthy conflict resolution. I think it’s import to be assertive, not passive or aggressive. Having two-way boundaries between people may or may not warrant an apology.
Hi Michael
I agree with you
well said!
Why try and
fight fire,
with fire.
Thank you so much,
Michael I really appreciate your answer.
I think you should apologize even if you are right, as sometimes that’s what it takes to restore the relationship.
Hi Judy Sovran,
so true.
To be honest it all depends on the person and the issue at hand.
It’s like certain situations in life,
before you can continue forward,
you have to move back a little!
to be able to move forward again.
Thank you so much Judy, I really appreciate your answer.
It really depends on the the situation.
Hi Beonka Young,
That’s so true!
I appreciate your answer, thank you.
Sometimes you need to just apologize to serve as a lesson to the other person. Better still to avoid future confrontation.
Hi Jennifer Bimpong,
well said!
that is so true,
dignity.
Thank you Jennifer
for your answer
I would not apologize if I am right personally I also would not brag about being right either but everybody’s different
Thank you so much Eric Elder,
Yes I agree!
So True,
even though the truth has been stated!
it’s always advisable to keep the calm.
Thanks once again, I appreciate the answer, peace.
It depends on the situation. If it’s something really important then I don’t think I should have to apologize, but if it’s something that really doesn’t matter then I might say, “I’m sorry we disagree and you are upset” just because some things are too trivial to be upset or argue about.
Thank you so much,
Sandra Kay Hodge,
valid point,
I appreciate you comment.
You’re welcome, hope you have a great day.
Not unless they went about to prove their point in an unacceptable way!
Hi Bryony Rose Driver,
so true.
You’re pulling out some jewels answers.
straight to the point.
Thank you so much.

Hi Antoniette Saab.
You explain the issue so well
in words, thank you.
