What Would You Do If You See One of the Shoppers Stealing in a Supermarket?

I will do nothing because thats not my job in the shop to aprouch one who is stealing that the security job and maybe that person dont have money to pay for it 

I personally would use caution in this case.Yes,we don’t know the situation,but you do not wish to be part of some situation like that and also being traumatized by it,for any violent reaction from the thief can occur.I would walk away and continue with my own shopping.

Leave the store quickly before I get caught up in something. Let Security do their job.

Ease myself away from that situation and go and warn the clerk or somebody up front about the situation.

Nothing. It is legal to steal in New York City as long as the theft does not surpass $1.000.00 USD. We live in a clown world.

If I could let manage know discreetly, maybe I would say something. But, these days we just can’t be to careful in situations like this. I work in retail and we are not allowed to confront shoplifters. We just let management know and they inform LP. I wouldn’t want to confront them anyway. I cherish my safety and others safety too much to risk anyones lives to try and get back anything that is being stolen. It’s just stuff. There are security and CCTV cameras everywhere these days and these thieves will eventually get caught. They think they can get away but they won’t.
