My restaurant would be privately owned. Franchises have to pay fees to the franchise owners, so the profit margin tends to be small. If I had a privately owned restaurant, I could put my own menu together, I could keep everything simple, and I could do my own decorating. Most importantly, I could make everything revolve around excellent customer service!
