Yes that’s what my Mum, do Just boil them add a two bits of garlic and butter and a pinch of salt. Old English style. I myself do the same way. I also add to my roast lamb when my lamb is cooked then I add to the roast lamb and put back in the oven for a next 15 or 20 minutes.
