Do we judge and gossip about other people for the sake of feeling better about ourselves?

I have known people who do and I try to remove myself from them. I don’t like to be in their company.

No, I don’t it’s one of the Ten Commands that wad given on to Moses for us to keep and obey!!

I think some people do Jacqueline but as for me I don’t.

I don’t, but in most cases yes people tend to do so to make themselves feel better for some reason in their mind.

Many folks do this because they feel it makes them look good and they feel too that they have gained self esteem from doing this.In the end gossip makes the person who is the cause of it look bad.

Often I think this is involved.

I think there is a defensive social element sometimes too. If a group is gossiping about somebody, some may join to feel more secure in their acceptance and avoid being rejected and the next subject.

I don’t enjoy it, it reminds me of school.

Yes I think that is the true reason why we resort to gossiping  and judging others.

No I don’t but it’s in the Scriptures or your Bible. Actually it maybe a Sin
