Have you ever disliked someone but became friends later. For me they way I became best of friends with my friend was really funny. We were working at the same place but different departments. I would see her and never say good morning and she would do the same. Now what happened was really God’s work. We met in one of the butcheries she bought meat and turkey. Accidentally I grabbed one of her bags. So when I got home I discovered there was turkey in one of the bags. Straight away I knew it was this lady’s bag. I kept it in the fridge and the following day I took it to work and asked her whether it was hers. This was first time I spoke to her. She was so happy and thanked me. She commented that I was very honesty. That was how our friendship started. I discovered she was really a nice person down to earth and I had no reason to dislike her.
Yes, I have. I remember an experience with a member of my church. At first, I misunderstood her personality and assumed we wouldn’t get along. Our interactions felt distant, and I honestly didn’t see us becoming friends. However, over time, we worked together in church activities and had more conversations. I began to understand her perspective, character, and intentions. That changed everything. I realized my initial judgment was based on assumptions, not facts. Today, we’re good friends, and that experience taught me the importance of patience, openness, and giving people a chance before forming conclusions.
