Are you someone who tends to overthink?
This is something I do a lot, especially as a mom with two kids in needy ages (I love them, don’t get me wrong!). There’s a lot to juggle, and sometimes things get blown out of proportion, especially with the nature of the world.
It’s natural, and you’re not alone if you do 🙂
Yes, I tend to overthink, especially when it comes to my artwork. I question every detail, color, and line, wanting it to be perfect, but sometimes overthinking blocks my creativity
I’ve heard that’s something that artists struggle with, that’s it hard to let imperfections be. Just remember that what you might see as imperfection, someone else might see as something incredible. I’d love to see something of yours, Ethienne! Happy creating!
Yes I do tend to over think a lot
Thanks for sharing, Jacqueline! Have a great weekend!
You’re welcome Kathryn
That has been kind of a hindrance for me.It has been going on since last year.I am finding ways to have that be less of a problem.I have been told that deep breathing methods help with that,as overthinking is done due to stress.
Yes, I’ve heard similar things too! Other times I just turn to God to alleviate the noise and get my thoughts in a row. Thanks for sharing, Myriam 🙂
Thank you for your response.
Overthinking is not a solution to any issue. I prefer to be a great thinker over over thinker. If you over think that is also being stressed.
Sometimes, it can’t be helped. We know overthinking doesn’t help, but once that metaphorical hamster wheel starts turning, it doesn’t stop without a fight. Thanks for chiming in, Hillary!
Ummm….let me think about that and I’ll let you know ……. When I’m done….
Haha, don’t think too hard over there, Lauren!
I used to but I have stopped because it drains me mentally.
It wears me out too. I’m glad you found a way to stop doing it, though! Thanks for sharing, Udoh, and have a great weekend!
Yes, I overthink often. I sometimes even overthink about ways to stop overthinking.
That’s an interesting technique! If I get too deep into the rabbit hole, I will go back to the beginning of my thought process and start to rework it to make it make more sense, if that makes sense. Phew! Thanks for sharing, Mitzi!
Lol, you’re welcome
If there is something I need to do or to build or start..Example: like a business. Then I normally will have a scrapbook and a pen, and go into deep meditation.
I love that thinking. I enjoy making lists upon lists, which sometimes leads to overthinking. Maybe I need fewer lists! Thanks for sharing, David!

Thanks for sharing, Kimberly! I hope you don’t overthink too hard today 😉 Happy Tuesday!
