When my daughter was a toddler, she had trouble speaking words, so we had to teach her some basic sign language to communicate with her until she was three. I wouldn’t mind learning more, though!
I don’t speak sign language fluently, but I respect its importance in communication. On this International Day of Sign Languages, let’s celebrate inclusivity and diversity. Also, I speak French and enjoy connecting through language.
