Why would anyone start backwards on a staircase? Yes it is possible many times when I have painted staircase sometimes you have to stand backwards!!

Well technically you can if you stop while going up the stairs the you would be standing backwards from the down stairs point of view where someone else can view you from the back. The only way that would be challenging is if the stairs were narrow and steep anyway thanks Teresa for sharing your comment
