Whenever am upset, I would just count up to ten to bring my cool. Being upset normally depends on situation beyond your expectation. Throwing tantrum do not bring up any solution.
You’re right having a tantrum does nothing but make the situation worse if anything. Thank you, Hillary, for your comment.
If I’m really upset, I usually watch my reactions and try to stay calm till I can take my leave. Once I’m not mad anymore I will find an opportunity to talk with person when we can do so calmly. Trying to remember, the end result is not who’s right or wrong but that you keep the peace and your friend.
It depends on what I’m upset about and who I’m upset with. Sometimes I will try to talk it out with the person and try to come up with a resolution that will work for us both. I’ve found that just being quiet about something doesn’t work for me, I just get more and more upset until I have a hissy fit and that doesn’t help anyone. If a situation is just getting worse when trying to work it out, I will eventually walk away and cool off.
That’s me too I think the best resolution for me is trying to avoid getting upset about things or people. Thanks, Sandra, for your comment.
When I felt upset, I talked to my sister. I find comfort and cope with my sadness.
Glad you have someone to turn to and thank you Maria for your comment.
For me, when I am angry at a person or situation, I turn to God and prayer to calm my spirit. Anger can make us say things we do not mean, causing a great deal of pain to others. Scripture reminds us to be peacemakers as directed in Galatians 5:20 -21 – “the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance.”
