If I was talking to someone on the phone that I find annoying, usually I say that I have another call or that my spouse needs to talk with me and let them go. I find doing that in person is harder but usually I say I have errands to run and let them go

I feel like no matter how annoying the conversation may be ..you somehow ended up in the conversation..so it must be for a reason .. wether it’s because that person needs the interaction or because there might get be information lost in their words..whatever the reason I just try to truly focus my attention on the conversation… everyone deserves respect..maybe someone finds you annoying as well..do they listen to you anyways!
