If someone is annoying and you want to end the conversation, I might explain that we all have opinions and not every ones opinion is the right answer. Sometimes we have to look at both sides to make an informative decision. My mom used to tell my sister and I to act like the other person and how would they feel about their side of the discussion. This can help us all think about both sides of that discussion.
I will politely say to the person that is so annoying that I have emergency call that l want to attend to. that we can see next time.

To politely end a conversation with someone who is annoying, use a direct but gentle approach that respects both your boundaries and theirs. Strategies include acknowledging their interest, expressing thanks, and being clear about your need to leave.

I would let them come to the end of their sentence and finally say, “Listen, I don’t think we need to continue on with this conversation at this point. I am not trying to be rude however this conversation has become a bit annoying, and I think it’s best if we just end it here”.

I will discharge the person by telling him or her that l had a call that l want to attend to urgently. Some other time we will see.
John – kouto thanks for your response.
It’s been nice chatting, but I’ve got to get going now.
Kaitlyn thanks for sharing.
I am very blunt; I just tell people I don’t want to talk to them and walk away or hang up if that’s the case. I don’t think you should put up with stuff if you are not comfortable for the sake of someone else.
Dan thanks for your honesty and participation.
I will politely end the conversation in an indirect way that he or she won’t notice
Olamide thanks for sharing.
Just go silent and walk out peacefully
For the sake of peace I will silent and work away cause if you try answering it might result to violence.
The best way I think should be ignoring them or telling them honestly with a small smile on your face

Wow, now this is a great question. Hopefully I can give an awesome answer.
Though I try not to be the one to end a conversation but there is one from time to time that I try to figure out something to say to be polite about having to be somewhere or talking to someone else. To be completely honest though I normally always just keep smiling and seeming understanding while they are talking but not really listening.
I think the one that annoys me the most are the ones that ask you how you been or how you are or anything along that line and then when you try to answer their question they pretty much blow you off and say oh yeah well I got to go somewhere or I’m late for something it’s like why would you even ask me if you’re not really concerned with my answer.
Hopefully that was good answer.
Brandi thanks for sharing.
I will just smile, and said see you later
Good answer Brandi. I also dislike those who just ask how are you for the sake of it, not even interested in your answer lol
Sometimes, it’s not about being rude — it’s about protecting your peace. Everybody’s energy ain’t meant to mix with yours, and that’s okay. When someone starts talking too much or starts rubbing you the wrong way, the best thing you can do is keep it calm, respectful, and firm.
Here’s how I handle it, no matter who I’m talking to — young, or old, any color it don’t matter, because it’s only one me and this is draining my energy and lowering my vibration, so you have to protect yourself by all means necessary, while also being polite at the same time.
1. In person:
“Hey, I don’t mean to cut you off, but I need to take care of something real quick. We’ll talk another time.”
or
“It’s been good chatting, but I’ve got to get going.”
Keep it short, sweet, and final — no extra explaining needed.
2. On the phone:
“I’d love to keep talking, but I’ve got something I need to handle right now.”
or
“I’m gonna let you go, but I hope the rest of your day goes well.”
They can’t argue with kindness.
3. Online or by text:
“Hey, I’m stepping away for a bit — got a few things to focus on.”
or
“Let’s catch up another time. I’m taking a little peace break.”
That’s it. Simple and grown.
See, the key is — you don’t have to match someone’s energy just because they’re getting on your nerves. You can exit any conversation with grace, love, and boundaries all at once.
Being polite doesn’t mean letting people drain you. It means you know how to walk away without losing your light. ✨
Lakeshia thanks for participating.
You welcome
Yes Lakeisha you don’t match their energy but counteract it!
I will just hang the call without saying goodbye
Agree to disagree then leave
Can we talk some other time, have gotta go now
Sunday thanks for sharing.
Keep silent as if your thoughts are elsewhere and stop responding the conversation which will show up disengagement. Finally break it up by jumping to conclusion.
l will politely end the discussion by saying to him or her with a smile l have something to cash up with. See you tomorrow
I will politely smile with him or her and shake him and tell him see u later my guy
I will listen and try to figure out the justification for the annoyance, apologize if necessary and walk away. In any case a SORRY will disarm any degree of expressed anger. It doesn’t cost a dime to say sorry even if i was right.
